God is building an army. He is seeking 144,000 warriors. The requirements for this position are a humble and teachable spirit and willingness to lead and be led. The duties of this army will include:
“They shall mount up on wings like Eagles. ” (Isaiah 40:31) “They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks. Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path. And when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.”
“The Lord will utter His voice before His army,” so they must be willing to obey the voice of the Lord their God. The sight before their eyes will be like the Garden of Eden. But behind them the land will lay waste like a desolate wilderness. And there is an urgency to their work because they “will not have gone over all the cities of Israel, before the Son of man comes.” (Matt. 10:23)
They will be taught precept upon precept and line upon line, and they will all be taught by God. (Isaiah 28:10-13; John 6:45; Isaiah 54:13) Boot camp will include: abstaining from Spiritual adultery, being sealed in devotion to God, settling into the truth, becoming undefiled with the false doctrines of the other churches, and getting the sin out of your life. It may also require healthy dietary changes and possibly other forms of self denial. (Dan. 1:8-20) But all this will be outweighed by the great retirement package.
Who is the great Commander? “He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth of the evil.”
If this sounds like the right fit for you, apply today. To apply, “says the LORD, turn to Me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning. And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God.”
Today we stand on the very threshold of Bible prophecy found in Revelation 7:1-4. The 4 winds of Heaven are about to blow in a new Beast from the book of Daniel. (see Dan. 7:2-3) Then “Kingdom will rise against kingdom” as foretold by Jesus. (Matt. 24:7) But God’s hand restrains these winds from blowing until He has numbered His army and is prepared to enter into the final battle over the Kingdom.
